Instead, they would build their own gas, nuclear or renewable generation on site rather than competing for capacity.

Defence: budgets are growing faster than the workforce

 

Europe’s defence sector is in the middle of its largest spending increase in decades, with turnover surpassing €290 billion and continuing to climb by double digits year on year. Analysts expect the sector’s direct workforce to grow from around 1 million to over 1.46 million jobs by 2030.
