EMBS Engineering is currently representing one of our longstanding clients who is a market leader in manufacturing precision components for the aerospace industry, supplying world-renowned, global customers.
Located at their North Nottinghamshire site, our client is in the market for a Lead Engineer, supporting the CAD CAM Programmers, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.
The Opportunity:
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day workload, prioritise engineering tasks, and ensure the team deliver projects to the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
This role is not hands-on programming, but rather focused on technical leadership, planning, and coordination, ensuring the engineering team has the guidance, resources, and support they need to perform effectively.
You’ll also present weekly updates to the senior leadership team, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
