Join a top-tier online retailer as a Data Engineer, where you’ll design and implement the data architecture that powers business-critical insights. This is a unique opportunity to shape the data backbone of an organisation that thrives on innovation and data-driven decisions.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to process real-time and batch data.
Design, optimise, and manage data storage systems like data lakes and warehouses.
Collaborate with analytics and product teams to ensure data accessibility and reliability.
Monitor and improve data quality, ensuring integrity and consistency across systems.
Research and implement emerging tools and technologies in big data engineering.
Who You Are:
An experienced Data Engineer with a solid understanding of ETL processes.
Skilled in Python, SQL, and big data tools such as Apache Spark or Kafka.
Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
A detail-oriented professional with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience in the e-commerce sector and familiarity with consumer behaviour analytics.
Hands-on experience with modern platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift.
