EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a precision engineering company located in Nottingham. Our client is a specialist in manufacturing precision-engineering components and supplies to a number of lucrative companies worldwide. 

Due to the latest expansion, they are looking for a Junior CMM Programmer to join their fast-paced and stimulating working environment.

Your responsibilities as a Junior CMM Programmer will include:
  • Gaining knowledge of setting and operating CMMs to ensure accurate measurements are taken
  • Learn to create CMM programmes whilst also supporting CMM failures by delving into and analysing results

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
  • Currently working as an apprentice or have completed apprentice training
  • Previous experience working in an engineering environment 
  • Inspection knowledge or experience is beneficial 
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and diagrams 
  • CMM programming knowledge is desirable but not essential
