EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, located in the Coventry area, that is currently in the market for a Quality Inspector to join their company on a permanent basis.
This market leader is a well-established entity within the precision engineering industries and boasts a rich history of supporting globally recognised customers with safety-critical, highly complex components.

Hours: Four-day work week (Monday to Thursday: 06:00am -3:45pm / 3:45pm - 1:30am) with overtime available.

Responsibilities
Due to internal changes and off the back of continued success, our client is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to hit the ground running, read drawings, and run inspection programs.
Your responsibilities will include:
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with drawing specifications and customer requirements.
You will:
Read and interpret customer engineering drawings.
Use standard metrology techniques, including hand gauges and 1st Principal techniques.
Operate CMM machines (PCDMIS preferred).
Apply GD&T inspection methods.
Inspect tight tolerance parts, both assembled & machined.
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in an aerospace quality environment (highly desirable).
An in-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards.
Proven experience with a wide range of handheld measuring equipment and CMM
A strong, positive attitude and a commitment to quality.
Basic PCDMIS programming skills (highly advantageous; company provides further training).
