There aren’t many roles where your work directly supports the organisation building the foundations of how AI is powered globally. This is one of them.
We’re working with a rapidly scaling technology solutions business delivering secure, complex, mission-critical transformation programmes for clients operating at the highest level, including the organisations defining how AI infrastructure is built and governed worldwide.
They’ve doubled in size over the last two years, reinvested heavily in leadership, and are now developing an architecture function that will shape how enterprise systems evolve over the next decade.
This isn’t a design-in-PowerPoint-and-walk-away kind of job. It’s real architecture, hands-on, accountable, and visible. Most of the time, you’ll be directly in front of clients, onsite, in the room where key decisions are made.
The Role
As a Solution Architect, you’ll operate at the crossroads of strategy, delivery, and client engagement. You’ll design and guide enterprise transformation across hybrid and on-prem environments, balancing governance, agility, and security.
You’ll be the trusted technical voice in the room, sometimes the one who challenges assumptions and shapes the right outcome.
You will:
This role suits someone who still loves the technical craft but now wants to influence the bigger picture, the solutions, the strategy, and the client direction.
For clarity, this position will not allow for unconstrained architectural freedom. You’ll work within specific, proven frameworks, meaning that while a solid technical understanding is essential across IT and business systems, this is not a deep technical subject matter expert or Enterprise Architect role.
About You
You’ve likely worked within a systems integrator, consultancy, or enterprise-scale transformation environment. You’re confident across infrastructure, applications, security, and integration, and you know how to communicate clearly at every level.
You can hold your own in discussions on architecture, data integration, and security principles, but this isn’t a deep engineering role.
You’ll bring:
You’re pragmatic, delivery-focused, and comfortable navigating complexity. You understand that influence matters as much as expertise.
Why Join
Because this business is right at the centre of change.
You’ll work alongside genuine technologists delivering transformation for some of the most important digital and AI infrastructure programmes in the world.
You’ll have influence, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow, both technically and professionally.
You’ll also benefit from:
The Process
EMBS Talent will arrange an initial discovery call to understand your background and fit for the role. From there, we’ll coordinate interviews directly with our client and guide you through every step of the process.
We’re looking to make an appointment before Christmas, though we’re equally open to professionals planning a new year move.
If you’re a Solution Architect ready to step into a role where your work will help shape the future of AI and enterprise transformation, we’d love to hear from you.
