EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company located in Leicester, working on a permanent basis.

The Company

EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a leading precision engineering company based in Leicestershire. Our client is a specialist in the manufacture of high-quality machined components, supplying to demanding industries that require the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce quality parts as per specifications
  • Interpret technical drawings and conduct precision measurements to ensure accuracy
  • Perform necessary adjustments to machine settings to optimise production efficiency
  • Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with the engineering team for continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
  • Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work completed

Successful Applicants MUST Be Able to Demonstrate

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in CNC milling operations
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Experience with CAD/CAM systems is advantageous
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and standards
  • Previous experience in a precision engineering environment is an asset
