EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company located in Leicester, working on a permanent basis.

The Company

EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a leading precision engineering company based in Leicestershire. Our client is a specialist in the manufacture of high-quality machined components, supplying to demanding industries that require the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce quality parts as per specifications
Interpret technical drawings and conduct precision measurements to ensure accuracy
Perform necessary adjustments to machine settings to optimise production efficiency
Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with the engineering team for continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work completed

Successful Applicants MUST Be Able to Demonstrate

Proven experience as a CNC Miller or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
A minimum of 3 years' experience in CNC milling operations
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
Experience with precision measuring instruments
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Experience with CAD/CAM systems is advantageous
Familiarity with quality control processes and standards
Previous experience in a precision engineering environment is an asset
