Location: Munster / South-East Ireland (hybrid)
Salary: €65,000 - €80,000 (flexibility for exceptional candidates with strong solar experience)

A strong Irish pipeline, genuine pivotal responsibility (you're setting projects up for delivery, not inheriting someone else's plan), and a clear path to senior PM or programme-level responsibility. Part of a larger European group with long-term stability.

About the role

EMBS is working with a fast-growing renewable energy business in Ireland that needs a Pre-Construction Project Manager to take projects from bid / pre-construction through to construction handover. The pre-construction phase is where projects get set up to succeed or fail, and this role is central to the pipeline.

What you'll do

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules and budgets at the pre-construction stage
  • Coordinate with design, procurement and construction teams through to project handover
  • Oversee the transition from pre-construction through to commissioning
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors and stakeholders
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior leadership
  • Support bid work and ROI analysis where needed

What we're looking for

  • Proven Project Manager or Pre-Construction Manager with experience on renewable energy (solar PV preferred) or large electrical / infrastructure projects
  • Strong construction management fundamentals - budgets, schedules, procurement, risk
  • Confident leading stakeholder communication, both internal and client-facing
  • Experience developing project plans from pre-construction through to handover
  • Comfortable working hybrid across offices and sites in the Munster / South-East region

This role is based in Ireland - applicants must be based in Ireland.
