Overview
EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a well-established, family-run precision engineering manufacturer currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
This company has built a strong reputation supplying safety-critical, highly complex components to globally recognised customers across Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Energy, and Transport sectors. Responsibilities
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for:
Setting and operating CNC Multi axis CNC machines
Performing self-inspection of machined components using mics, calipers, and verniers
Working with low-volume batch sizes, typically 1–20 parts creating safety critical components
Successful Applicants Must Be Able to Demonstrate
Background in precision engineering — aerospace, automotive, defence, energy, or transport sectors preferred
Ability to edit and adjust offsets on CNC machines (minimum requirement) with Fanuc expeirence being highly desirable
Competence with precision measuring equipment: micrometers, calipers, verniers
Experience in low-volume, prototype, or mixed-batch manufacturing environments
A quality-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
