Overview
EMBS Engineering is working with a long established precision engineering company with over 20 years' experience supplying high-quality components and assemblies to sectors including Science & Medical, Oil & Gas, Automotive, and more.
They are a small, friendly, and highly skilled team, and we're currently looking for an experienced CNC Turning Setter & Operator to join us on a permanent basis.
About the Role
Our client is seeking someone who can confidently programme, set and operate CNC lathes (Fanuc control is essential), work from engineering drawings, and contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
If you're the kind of person who enjoys hands-on work, solves problems proactively, and doesn't mind getting stuck in wherever needed, you'll be a great fit here.
What We're Looking For
Strong experience setting & operating Fanuc-controlled CNC turners (essential)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Solid background in manufacturing
Confident working to tight tolerances
Schedule
Core working week: Monday to Thursday
37 hours per week
Overtime available on selected Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
