This month sees EMBS celebrate 22 years in business.
Founded by Simon Bucknell, we have grown to become one of the Midlands’ leading specialists in the engineering and technology industries. Today, James Hall, Managing Director, joins Simon in running the business.
Over more than two decades, EMBS has supported countless clients across the Midlands and empowered thousands of candidates to secure their ideal careers.
Simon Bucknell said: “As a business, we are advocates for driving innovation through change, adopting new AI and data technologies and systems to ensure we lead in recruitment.”
James Hall set up the engineering division of the business 11 years ago. He said: “Our aim is to transform businesses and careers by uniting the right talent with organisations ready to innovate and grow. As businesses develop, whatever technology is introduced or how the world changes, the one key element is always people.”
Our journey spans a period of unprecedented technological advancement that has fundamentally reshaped the business world. When the company first opened its doors in the early 2000s, the digital landscape was vastly different. Email was just beginning to supersede fax machines and traditional mail as the primary mode of professional communication. LinkedIn, the professional networking giant, only debuted in 2003.
Today, EMBS stands stronger than ever, structured into three expert-led divisions. The technology division continues to thrive under our founder Simon Bucknell. The engineering division is led by our Managing Director, James Hall. Adding to our specialised offerings, we have also introduced Alpha Insights, a new division spearheaded by Justian Blount, further expanding our capabilities and reach within critical sectors.
