​​​​​EMBS Engineering is thrilled to be working exclusively with a prestigious client based in North Nottinghamshire, who are on the lookout for skilled Quality Inspectors to join their team on a permanent basis.

Our client is a globally renowned precision engineering company that produces small to medium-sized, critical components for industry leaders in sectors such as Aerospace, Nuclear, Defence, and more.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Inspecting precision components using manual measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres, calipers etc and/or CMM 
  • Identifying and raising NCR's
  • Performing first-off, stage and final inspection

Successful application MUST be able to demonstrate: 
 
  • Strong background in Quality Inspection
  • Previously inspected machined components for high-profile industries such as; Aerospace, Defence, Motorsport, Automotive, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Petrochemical etc.
  • The ability to operate CMMs and/or Faro Arms would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Ability to self-inspect parts using manual measuring equipment - micrometres, verniers, calipers, gauges etc.
  • Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of performing first-off, stage and final inspection
  • Worked on small to medium-sized, precision-machined components
