EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering
manufacturer, located near Redditch that is currently in the market for a CNC Machinist to join their
company on a Permanent basis.
This market leader is a well-established entity within the precision engineering
industries and boasts a rich history of supporting globally recognised customers with
safety-critical, highly complex components.

● Hours: Monday to Wednesday 16.30 to 2.30, Thursday 16.30 to 1.30 (permanent Fridays off)
Responsibilities
Due to internal changes and of the back of continued success, our client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinst (Miller).
As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible for...
- Operating and setting CNC and manual lathes (vertical/horizontal).
- Setting tool geometries and live tooling.
- Adjusting and change fixtures and clamps as needed.
- Loading/unloading fixtures using overhead cranes and lifting gear.
- Adjusting offsets and edit CNC programs.
- Performing basic program reading and updates.
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- 1-2 years' experience in Aerospace, Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar preferred.
- Familiarity with quality and manufacturing standards.
- Achieve targets and produce accurate first-offs.
- Train and support colleagues as needed.
- Positive, proactive, and accountable.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and team-oriented.
