Our client is seeking a talented Electronics R&D Technician to join their innovative hardware development team.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Electronics R&D Technician, you’ll play a key role in the research and development of electronic systems. Working closely with the Head of Hardware Development, your responsibilities will include:

  • Prototyping, testing, and maintaining hardware products.

  • Supporting fault-finding and implementing enhancements in production items, test fixtures, and processes.

  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure product integrity and quality.

  • Maintaining and improving test solutions within electronic manufacturing systems.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • HND/HNC in Electronic Engineering or equivalent (experience in lieu considered).

  • Experience in electronic product manufacturing or R&D.

  • Knowledge of electronic manufacturing systems and production processes.

  • Familiarity with electronic testing, debugging, and schematic interpretation.


Desirable Skills:

  • IPC training certification.

  • Experience in through-hole and surface-mount soldering.

  • Mechanical skills, including manual and CNC work.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.


Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must be British Citizens.

  • This role requires obtaining and maintaining DV security clearance.
