EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting a skilled Quality Technician to join an exciting company located in Wolverhampton, working on a permanent basis.
Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances; therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.
Key Benefits on offer:
£ 35,000 to £40,000 per annum
Shifts: Days and Afternoons available with an early finish on Fridays

Your responsibilities include:
Completing goods-in, intermediate and final inspections
Raising Non-Conformance Reports as necessary
Maintaining inspection and quality records in line with customer requirements
Liaising with a variety of departments
To be successful, you must possess:
Proven experience in a precision engineering setting, including sectors like Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, or Defence
Expertise in goods-in inspection processes
Familiarity with material certifications and documentation packages (doc packs)
Proficiency in using manual measuring equipment
Knowledge of weld maps and weld symbols
Understanding or exposure to Quality tools such as 8D, 5Y, PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC would be beneficial
