EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a leading precision engineering company in Tamworth on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities of a Stores Operative:
- Performing manual stock checks (counting and recording stock levels)
- Data entry and system updates using Excel, Office, and ERP
- Stock control, including F.I.F.O and stock rotation
- General stores operative duties within a precision engineering environment
Requirements for the Stores Operative Role:
- Previous experience as a stores operative or in Warehousing, Stores, or Goods In (Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial etc.)
- IT literate – confident using Windows-based ERP systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Keen eye for detail and ability to follow stock control procedures
