EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a leading precision engineering company in Tamworth on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities of a Stores Operative:
Performing manual stock checks (counting and recording stock levels)
Data entry and system updates using Excel, Office, and ERP
Stock control, including F.I.F.O and stock rotation
General stores operative duties within a precision engineering environment
Requirements for the Stores Operative Role:
Previous experience as a stores operative or in Warehousing, Stores, or Goods In (Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial etc.)
IT literate – confident using Windows-based ERP systems
Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
Keen eye for detail and ability to follow stock control procedures
