EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, located in Leicester, that is currently in the market for a Bench Engineer / Mechanical Assembler to join their company permanently.
This market leader is a well-established entity within the precision engineering industries and boasts a rich history of supporting globally recognised customers with safety-critical, highly complex components.

Your responsibilities will include:
Read and interpret complex engineering drawings
Perform tasks such as deburring & polishing
Mechanically assembling sub assemblies
Self-inspect own parts using manual measuring equipment
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience working in a precision engineering/advanced manufacturing environment
Ability to confidently read and understand engineering drawings
Confidence self self-inspecting own parts using manual measuring equipment
Able to carry out techniques such as deburring, polishing, chamfering, etc.
Have used a wide range of hand and air tools
Desirable:
Experience with techniques such as Vibro Etch, Stamping, Inkjet Part Mark, and Dot Peening for identity markings for components
Previous experience in part marking/stamping in a manufacturing environment
