We are recruiting a Data Governance Consultant to join a global consultancy supporting an enterprise-wide data governance and data management programme.
Data Governance Consultant
Location: US / Remote (with monthly on-site client visits - Virginia)
Salary: Circa $210,000 - $250,000 USD per year
This role focuses on designing and embedding governance capabilities that enable trusted, compliant and high-quality data.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement data governance frameworks and operating models
Define policies, standards, ownership and stewardship structures
Establish data quality management practices and controls
Support metadata management and data lifecycle initiatives
Facilitate governance forums and stakeholder alignment
Drive adoption through training, communication and change support
Key Skills & Experience
7–10 years of experience in data governance, data management, or regulatory compliance roles
Strong knowledge of governance frameworks and industry best practice
Ability to balance control, compliance and business enablement
Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
Consulting experience is highly desirable
