Job Title: 4 Axis CNC Setter 
Location: Northampton
Salary: £Depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, Flexible start and finish times with an early Friday finish

EMBS Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated 4 Axis CNC Setter to join a well-established and forward-thinking precision engineering company based in Northampton. This opportunity involves working with advanced 4-axis CNC machinery to produce high-quality components for globally recognised clients. It is an excellent role for an experienced CNC Setter looking to secure a stable, rewarding, and technically engaging career.

What the role offers:

  • Day shift 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday 8am - 2pm Friday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and operate 4 Axis CNC Machines
  • Run proven programs, ensuring parts confirm with specifications
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Self-inspect own parts using manual measuring equipment
About You:
Our client produces small to medium-sized, complex precision components for high-profile customers across a broad range of market-leading industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a CNC Setter to join their established team. If you have experience as a CNC Setter within precision engineering and enjoy working on challenging components using state-of-the-art CNC machinery, this opportunity could be an excellent fit for you.

Essential Requirements:
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Ability to commute to Northampton, reside within a commutable distance or are considering relocation to this area.
This position requires the successful candidate to undergo UK security clearance. To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the above essential requirements. Please note that due to the security clearance requirements, we are unable to sponsor visas for this position.

Skills Required:
  • Experienced in setting and operating 4 Axis CNC machines 
  • Proven background of testing your skills on challenging and intricate parts
  • Precision engineering
