Location: Cork (with travel across Munster)
Salary: €65,000 - €75,000 + company car
Contract: 12 month fixed term
Sector: Renewable energy / Solar PV construction

Why this role

Variety across live Munster projects, a company car, strong group backing, and a real path from Site Manager to Project Manager within the business. No two weeks look the same.

About the role

EMBS is partnering with a well-established renewable energy business delivering distributed generation and solar PV projects across Ireland. They have a strong pipeline of construction projects in Cork and the wider Munster region, and they need experienced Construction Site Managers to take hands-on ownership of live sites - from mobilisation through commissioning and post-installation support.

What you'll do

  • Own day-to-day site operations: coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensure work matches programme, specifications and drawings
  • Lead on health, safety and quality - enforce Irish H&S regulations, run inspections, verify all certifications, and resolve issues immediately
  • Manage site resources and costs - labour, materials, plant - and keep accurate records
  • Liaise with clients, engineers and other stakeholders at regular site meetings
  • Own site documentation: daily logs, progress reports, safety records, handover packs

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' construction management experience, ideally on renewable energy projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish H&S regulations (Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013)
  • Relevant construction management and H&S certifications
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficient with construction project management software
  • Flexibility to travel and overnight as required

This role is based in Ireland - applicants must be based in Ireland.
