Solar Project Manager

Location: South-East Ireland (with travel across Ireland)
Salary: €65,000 - €80,000 (flexibility for exceptional candidates with strong solar experience)

A genuine delivery role with real autonomy - you'll own projects end-to-end, not just sit in status meetings. Flat structure, quick decisions, strong group backing, and a team that's grown substantially in recent years with continued growth ahead.

About the role

EMBS is partnering with an established renewable energy business with an active and growing Irish project portfolio. They need Project Managers to lead delivery end-to-end - from pre-construction through commissioning and handover - across rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects nationwide.

What you'll do

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules and budgets
  • Oversee all phases of construction from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors and other stakeholders
  • Lead on-site teams including subcontractors, and support Site Managers in the field
  • Participate in monthly Lessons Learned sessions and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Line manage direct reports where applicable, including performance management and KPI setting
  • Ensure compliance with Irish H&S and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • Proven Project Management experience in construction, ideally on renewable energy (solar PV preferred) or large electrical projects
  • Strong track record delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Leadership experience managing on-site teams and subcontractors
  • Working knowledge of Irish H&S regulations
  • Comfortable with regular travel to construction sites across Ireland
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline preferred
