Overview
EMBS is working in partnership with a family-owned infrastructure contractor, located near Oxford, that is currently in the market for a Quantity Surveyor to join their company on a permanent basis.
This market leader is a well-established entity marking its 75th year and holds Platinum Investors in People status, with a long history in water. A wastewater framework near Oxford is building out its commercial team, and alongside a more senior appointment there is room for a QS a little earlier in the trade — a strong opportunity to develop somewhere the work is committed for years rather than the length of one job.

Hours: Days
Benefits: Hybrid working — two to three days on site and remote otherwise, with an office near London or in the Midlands available if you want one. You would also work alongside an experienced Managing QS, learning how a framework is actually run, with a clear route toward owning your own CVRs. The works themselves are worth seeing: phosphorus removal, digestion tanks producing biomass for local farms, and gas generation built in.
Responsibilities
Off the back of a growing commercial team on a committed wastewater framework, our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work alongside an experienced Managing QS and develop toward owning their own packages.
