Last week, the UK aerospace giant announced it is actively seeking partners for launch, landing and lunar transportation services. This open call signals further expansion of the UK’s space sector. And, as we all know, expansion can bring more jobs in engineering, manufacturing and logistics.

“We know we are not a space company alone,” stated Rolls-Royce Assistant Chief Engineer for Space, Katie Jarman, highlighting the necessity of collaboration.

The micro-reactors, designed to power lunar habitats and future space missions, will necessitate a diverse supply chain.
