Hi, I'm Tom

I’ve worked in recruitment for over 5 years, with the last 4 and a half specialising in engineering and rail. I really enjoy working within these sectors and building strong relationships with clients and candidates. I’ve recently joined EMBS as a Senior Talent Partner and I’m excited about the opportunity to develop, grow and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Personal Interests:

Outside of work, I’m big into keeping fit and playing sport, particularly football, which I still play at semi-professional level. I also have a serious weakness for chocolate – I’d say a minimum of one big bar a day is fairly standard.

Favourite Places:

Firstly, Ibiza for both the party side but also the old town, food and views, as it’s unreal. Secondly, my bed – having just been blessed with the arrival of twins, any chance to get my head down and get some extra Z’s is very welcomed!

Core Values:

One of my key values is respect. I think it’s important to treat everyone fairly and with the same level of respect, regardless of their position or background. This is especially important in recruitment, where you’re dealing with people at different stages of their careers and making decisions that can have a real impact on them. I believe being honest, approachable and respectful helps build trust with both candidates and clients, and ultimately leads to better relationships and better outcomes.
