Overview

EMBS Engineering is proud to be working with a precision engineering company based in Derby. Renowned for manufacturing high-quality precision components, our client supplies to a range of prestigious companies across the globe.

As part of their ongoing growth, they are seeking a talented CNC Miller to join their dynamic and fast-paced team.

  • Hours: A variety of shift patterns are available: Days, Nights and Weekends (48 hours per week)

Your responsibilities include:

  • Setting, operating and editing 4 and 5 axis Milling machines using Fanuc controls
  • Machining small to large -sized complex parts in low batch sizes using various materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Titanium for precision industries such as Aerospace 
  • Machining to tight tolerances 
  • Working from engineering drawings 
  • Working on multiple setups (2-3 per day)


Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

  • Must be able to set, operate and edit 4 and 5-axis CNC Milling machines
  • Experience working with Fanuc controls 
  • Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil, and gas, etc
  • Previously worked with Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium
  • Experience with machining to tight tolerances
  • Confident working with small to large-sized components in low batches
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings


Desirable:

  • Long- Bed experience would be a desirable 
  • Previous experience using a Fanuc Automation Robot 
  • Confident with TPMS
  • Previous experience working on Extrusions
