Overview 

EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a global footprint company that is world-renowned for its manufacturing capabilities of producing high-quality, detailed components through various machine manufacturing for lucrative customers, primarily within the aerospace market.

As part of the company's growth, our client is looking for a Quality Technician (FAIRS) to join the team on a permanent basis.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) packs before internal or customer approval to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Preparing and submitting Data Cards and other quality-related documents for internal or customer approval.
  • Supporting the internal non-conformance process by raising rejects and ensuring all containment actions are documented.
  • Collaborating closely with the Engineering team to facilitate a smooth transition for New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Conducting Calibration activities as required to support operational needs.


Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong understanding of FAIR preparation, calibration, and non-conformance processes.
  • Ability to read and apply engineering drawings, inspection plans, and manufacturing instructions accurately.
  • Experience identifying and resolving quality issues to prevent recurrence.
  • Effective collaboration with Engineering and Operations to ensure smooth workflows, especially during New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Confident use of inspection tools and maintaining accurate records in an MRP system.
