Are you a Product Owner with a passion for driving development and delivering cutting-edge SaaS products? We are seeking a talented individual to play a key role within our Development function, ensuring our analytics platform continues to innovate and meet customer needs.

Your Role:

  • Backlog Management: Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring that tickets are well defined, prioritised, and aligned with business objectives. You will work closely with the development team to ensure the backlog is always up to date and actionable.
  • Ticket Refinement: Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to refine and clarify requirements. You’ll break down complex user stories into clear, actionable tickets and ensure alignment across teams.
  • SaaS Product Ownership: Lead the roadmap for our customer analytics-focused SaaS platform. You will work cross-functionally to ensure the product continues to evolve, delivering new features and functionality that meet user needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the bridge between the business and development teams, ensuring that requirements are captured, communicated, and delivered effectively. You’ll be the go-to person for internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
  • Agile Delivery: Champion Agile practices within the development team, ensuring smooth sprint planning, regular refinements, and timely delivery of key features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring prioritisation aligns with business and customer needs.
  • Write and refine user stories, tickets, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the development team.
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement sessions, and sprint reviews.
  • Maintain a clear product roadmap and communicate this across teams.
  • Collaborate with the CTO, development team, and stakeholders to deliver product features and enhancements.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of the development process through agile methodologies.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, ideally within a SaaS product environment.
  • Experience working closely with development teams in an Agile setting.
  • Strong knowledge of backlog management, ticket refinement, and sprint planning.
  • Proven experience in product ownership for analytics or data-driven applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across both technical and business teams.
  • Familiarity with customer analytics and a good understanding of SaaS product lifecycles.
  • Knowledge of product management tools such as Jira or Trello.
