Overview
EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a
Dimensional Quality Inspector to join a precision engineering company based in
Walsall, working on a
permanent basis.
Key Benefits on Offer:
- £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Days (Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm / Friday: 8:00am - 1:30pm)

- Overtime available with premium rates (x1/3 weekday, x1/2 Saturday, x2 Sunday)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting parts and assemblies to ensure they meet dimensional specifications
- Conducting inspections using Faro / Romer arms and manual measuring equipment
- Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings (both metric and imperial)
- Performing inspections on welds and fabrication sub-assemblies
- Utilising NDT methods such as Visual, Dye Penetrant, Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and X-ray (onsite)
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications
What experience do you need?
- Strong Quality Inspection experience
- Knowledge of using Faro / Romer arms
- Experience with manual measuring equipment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Previous experience inspecting welds and fabrication sub-assemblies
- NDT Inspection knowledge would be advantageous (Visual, Dye Penetrant, UT, MPI, X-ray)
