EMBS Engineering is in exclusive partnership with a reputable engineering company located in Nottinghamshire which is a globally recognised, market-leading precision engineering/manufacturing business that supports world-renowned industry leaders.

  • Hours: Monday – Wednesday 8.00pm – 6.00am and Thursday 8.00pm – 5.00am (nights)

Your responsibilities include:

  • Working on a Bridgeport Manual Milling machine to machine complex components Working from engineering drawings to machine components 
  • Using hand and air tools including drills to adjust components to meet client requirements 
  • Perform stage and final inspection on machined parts

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating Bridgeport Manual Milling machines 
  • Competence using manual measuring equipment such as; verniers, micrometers, calipers
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Previous experience machining high profile / complex machined components, supplied into either the Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Defence, Medical or Petrochemical industries
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and air tools to adjust components to meet requirements
