Are you passionate about IT and eager to deliver top-notch support in a dynamic retail environment? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a 1st Line Support Engineer to join a well-established, large-scale retail business based onsite in Nottingham.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for IT support queries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Managing and resolving tickets in a timely manner, escalating where necessary.
  • Supporting retail systems, including POS, to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborating with 2nd line and wider IT teams to enhance user experience.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • A genuine passion for technology and helping others.
  • Previous experience in a 1st line support or similar IT role.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Familiarity with Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking.
  • A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
