Overview
EMBS Engineering has been tasked with identifying multiple Quality Inspectors on behalf of a precision engineering company located in Derby that manufactures small to medium-sized, complex, safety-critical components for some of the world's leading aerospace manufacturing companies

Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting precision components using manual measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres, calipers etc and/or CMM
- Identifying and raising NCR's
- Performing first-off, stage, and final inspection
Successful application MUST be able to demonstrate:
- Previous quality inspection experience
- Worked within a precision engineering environment - inspected parts supplied into the aerospace, automotive, motorsport, rail, oil & gas, nuclear or MOD sectors
- Ideally, final / release inspection experience
- Ability to use manual measuring equipment, particularly verniers, calipers and micrometers
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- A meticulous approach to working and strong attention to detail
- Hard-working with an aptitude and willingness to learn
