Overview

EMBS Engineering has been tasked with identifying multiple Quality Inspectors on behalf of a precision engineering company located in Derby that manufactures small to medium-sized, complex, safety-critical components for some of the world's leading aerospace manufacturing companies

 Your responsibilities will include: 
  • Inspecting precision components using manual measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres, calipers etc and/or CMM 
  • Identifying and raising NCR's
  • Performing first-off, stage, and final inspection
​​​​​​​Successful application MUST be able to demonstrate: 
  • Previous quality inspection experience 
  • Worked within a precision engineering environment - inspected parts supplied into the aerospace, automotive, motorsport, rail, oil & gas, nuclear or MOD sectors
  • Ideally, final / release inspection experience
  • Ability to use manual measuring equipment, particularly verniers, calipers and micrometers
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • A meticulous approach to working and strong attention to detail
  • Hard-working with an aptitude and willingness to learn
