EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Trainee Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join a leading precision engineering company in Tamworth on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Trainee Shipping & Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Raising shipping documentation for parts being sent to suppliers and customers
  • Managing UK shipments initially, with potential to expand into international logistics
  • Communicating with couriers and internal teams to ensure smooth shipping operations
  • Using ERP systems to track and process shipments


Requirements:

To be successful in this Trainee Shipping & Logistics Coordinator role, you should have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Emails, MS Teams
  • Strong communication & relationship-building skills – ability to liaise with couriers, team members, and managers
  • A background in customer service, logistics, distribution, retail, or manufacturing is beneficial
  • An organised, proactive and confident approach to work
