EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative to join a leading precision engineering company in Tamworth on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities of a Despatch Operative:

• Packing finished goods/parts according to customer packing specifications
• Ensuring accurate labelling and documentation for despatch
• Updating records and inputting data using Excel and ERP systems
• Checking stock levels and ensuring correct inventory control
• Identifying and reporting any issues with packing or quality control

Requirements for the Despatch Operative Role:

• Previous experience in despatch, packing, or stores within manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environments
• Strong computer literacy – able to use Excel and ERP systems confidently
• Keen eye for detail and the ability to spot and report potential issues
• Honest and proactive approach 
• Efficient and well-organised working style
• Training will be provided for a Pedestrian Truck Licence
