EMBS Engineering is proud to be bringing to market an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Manager or aspiring Senior Quality Engineer who is looking for their next career progression, to join an award winning, market-leading manufacturing business located in North Nottinghamshire.
Our client is looking to enhance their existing quality team by adding either an existing Quality Manager or an ambitious, driven Senior Quality Engineer into the business to aid their continued growth.

The Opportunity:
This is a dual-focus role where you’ll be responsible for:
Quality Management Systems
- Writing, updating, and improving quality manuals and procedures
- Leading and participating in internal and external audits
- Identifying system-level improvements and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Product & Operational Quality
- Reviewing manufacturing processes at source to identify non-conformities
- Leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Driving down the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
- Supporting production teams to improve right-first-time, output and quality metrics
What We’re Looking For:
- Previously performed a Senior / Lead Quality Engineering or Quality Management position within a mechanically biased manufacturing environment
- Experience within precision engineering or advanced manufacturing (e.g., CNC machining and/or fabrication)
- Exposure to the above manufacturing processes within regulated sectors like nuclear, aerospace, defence, or subsea
- Confidence in auditing, technical documentation, and hands-on shop floor quality problem solving
- A proactive mindset and a passion for making things better
