EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Packing Operative to join a leading precision engineering company in Tamworth on a permanent basis.

Day Shift

Internal training and development opportunities
Pack parts as per customer requirements to ensure compliance with packing specifications, prepare paperwork
Ensuring accurate labelling and documentation for despatch
Updating records and inputting data using Excel and ERP systems
Identifying and reporting any issues with packing or quality control
Performing manual stock checks (counting and recording stock levels)
Stock control, including F.I.F.O and stock rotation
General operative duties within a precision engineering environment
Previous experience in despatch, packing, or stores within manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environments
Strong computer literacy – able to use Excel and ERP systems confidently
Keen eye for detail and the ability to spot and report potential issues
Honest and proactive approach
Efficient and well-organised working style
