Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Tamworth
Hours: Days with an early Friday finish


The Opportunity:
EMBS Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated Assembly Technician to join a well-established and innovative precision engineering company located in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the assembly of high-quality components and further develop your engineering expertise within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work to detailed engineering drawings and schematics
  • Assemble precision machined components
  • Working with various hand tools and equipment


About You:
As an Assembly Technician, you will be a detail orientated, focused individual who is eager to test their skills and knowledge in a clean, modern environment. You will enjoy working on various precision machined components ensuring accurate assembly processes are following to a high standard. You will spent time working on intricate assembly ensuring all elements of the build are correct.



Essential Requirements:
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the above essential requirements.
  • Please note that due to the security clearance requirements, we are unable to sponsor visas for this position.


Skills Required:
  • Minimum 3 years assembly experience 
  • Able to assemble small, intricate parts
  • Confidence handling precision pieces used for assembly such as springs, nuts, bolts, coils, washers etc
  • Minimum 3 years in a precision engineering environment
  • Able to use hand held assembly tools
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
