The Role: 

As a Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping their market presence and driving our growth initiatives within the public transport technology sector. Working within a small, agile team, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of diverse marketing activities, from strategy development to hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management & Lead Generation: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels with a strong focus on generating qualified sales leads.
  • Social Media Expertise: Lead our social media strategy, creating engaging content and leveraging platforms to build brand awareness, foster community, and drive traffic.
  • Event Management: Plan, organise, and execute successful events, from concept to completion, including resource coordination, team setup, and logistical arrangements.
  • Market Intelligence: Proactively gather, analyse, and interpret market intelligence to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for growth within the transport tech sector.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with sales objectives, providing them with the tools and insights needed to succeed.
  • Press & PR Management: Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, managing press releases and PR activities to enhance our public profile.
  • Product Understanding: Develop a high-level understanding of our technological offerings for public transport to effectively communicate their value proposition to target audiences.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the business, building strong relationships and ensuring marketing initiatives support overall company goals.
  • Autonomous Work: Demonstrate the ability to work independently, taking initiative and driving projects forward with minimal supervision.
 

About You: 

  • A minimum of 3 years' proven experience in a marketing role, ideally within a small team environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in generating sales leads through effective marketing campaigns.
  • Highly proficient and savvy in all aspects of social media marketing.
  • Proven ability to set up and organise successful events, including resource allocation and team coordination.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to pull together and interpret market intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a sales team and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive and self-motivated individual who thrives on working on their own initiative.
  • A keen desire to learn about new technologies, particularly in the public transport sector, and the high-level technical solutions we provide.
