What You’ll Be Doing:
Defining, documenting, and gaining approval for new GenAI platform features and capabilities
Translating business and technical goals into structured design artefacts such as HLDs, LLDs, sequence diagrams, and governance packs
Leading design discussions while ensuring alignment with cloud best practice and enterprise security standards
Partnering with product owners, architects, SRE/DevOps teams, and data scientists to ensure clarity and feasibility
Supporting engineering teams throughout delivery by resolving design queries quickly and effectively
Maintaining platform capability roadmaps focused on value, reuse, scalability, and long-term futureproofing
Ensuring designs progress efficiently through architecture and governance forums
Driving integration patterns across applications, AI APIs, and core platform services
Identifying risks, dependencies, and simplification opportunities early

Experience in solution design, integration architecture, or a similar technical role
Strong background designing cloud-native platforms on AWS
A track record of moving complex designs through structured governance at pace
Experience working with enterprise security, observability, compliance, and IAM frameworks
Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, messaging, and platform services
The ability to simplify complex problems into clear, actionable artefacts for engineers
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have:
Experience in regulated industries such as insurance or financial services

New GenAI platform capabilities designed, approved, and delivered smoothly into production
Clear, consistent design standards and strong reuse of platform components
Engaged stakeholders who see you as a reliable source of structure, clarity, and progress
Accelerated adoption of GenAI solutions across engineering teams
Role Details:
Rate: £450–£500 per day Inside IR35, or permanent £60k–£70k salary
