You’ll be joining a growing manufacturing team in a modern facility, taking ownership of a mix of assembly, testing and day-to-day production activities. No two days will look the same, and you’ll play an important part in keeping quality at the heart of every build.
Electronics Production Technician / PCB Assembler
Location: Derbyshire, East Midlands
Salary: £28-32K + Benefits
Reporting to an experienced and supportive Production Manager, you’ll work closely with colleagues across production and development, ensuring products are assembled correctly, tested properly and delivered to the highest standard. If you take pride in doing things the right way and enjoy finding ways to improve processes, you’ll feel right at home.
What the role involves
Assembling electronic products with care and precision, always protecting the integrity of the build.
Carrying out routine testing, maintaining test setups and diagnosing issues.
Supporting production runs, prototype builds and new product launches.
Working with the development team to suggest improvements to fixtures, processes or manufacturing methods.
Handling a mix of production and logistics tasks to keep things running smoothly.
Travelling to other UK sites when required.

A diligent, compliance-driven mindset.
Technical background
HND/HNC in Electronic Engineering – relevant hands-on experience also welcomed.
Experience working in electronics manufacturing or production (2+ years).
Nice-to-have experience
IPC training or certification.
Through-hole soldering skills.
Ability to read and follow assembly drawings or technical instructions.
Previous work assembling electronic components or carrying out quality checks.
Security Requirements - Applicants must be British Citizens and able to obtain and maintain unconditional DV clearance.
