Senior Security Systems Designer 
Location: Derby, 3 days on-site
Clearance: SC Clearance Required (Held or Eligible)

The Opportunity
Join a rapidly expanding, award-winning technology firm that has grown from a startup into a £7M turnover powerhouse. We are the strategic partner of choice for mission-critical environments, providing MoD-standard safeguards for high-security sites across the UK. As a Senior Designer, you will be the Design Authority for integrated solutions.
You won't just be designing CCTV; you will be architecting complex, resilient systems including electric fences, acoustic detection, HVM (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation), and blast-resistant doors.

What You’ll Do
● Technical Ownership: Lead end-to-end design (HLD/LLD) for high-security sites, ensuring every solution is robust and compliant.
● Integrated Innovation: Integrate diverse systems from biometric access control to large-scale network security deployments.
● Client Advisory: Act as the technical voice of the business in high-level design workshops alongside global consultancy partners.
● Leadership: Mentor a small, dedicated team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

What We’re Looking For
● Specialist Design Background: Proven experience in security systems design (not just installation) within regulated or defence-adjacent environments.
● Tech Stack: Familiarity with Mercury door controllers and Axis or Bosch surveillance platforms.
● Commitment: A 3-day on-site presence initially to ensure close collaboration with the delivery teams.
