EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, located in Derby, that is currently in the market for a Riveter / Sheet Metal Assembler to join their company on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities
Due to continued success, our client is seeking an experienced Riveter / Sheet Metal Assembler to join their busy assembly team. Your responsibilities will include:
Assembly and riveting of sheet metal components in line with relevant procedures
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, data cards and Job Card instructions for machine set up and operation
Setting up machines with the correct settings and tooling in line with relevant procedures
Using riveting equipment, measuring equipment and hand tools to a skilled standard
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
Experience of reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances
High attention to detail with a right-first-time mentality
Strong communication skills and a team player approach
Reliability, dedication and the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload
Good housekeeping standards and adherence to process
