Junior Service Delivery Manager (12-Month FTC)

Our client, a leading global professional services organisation, is seeking a Junior Service Delivery Manager to join their dynamic team in Manchester on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers excellent exposure to a wide range of service delivery activities within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
You will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality services, contributing to process improvements, and collaborating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to develop their skills and knowledge within service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive support to Service Delivery Managers, assisting with the planning, execution, and monitoring of service delivery projects, including tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and risk management.
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery processes and contribute to the development and implementation of solutions, which may involve documenting processes, identifying bottlenecks, and suggesting improvements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients, ensuring effective communication and collaboration, and proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
Prepare regular reports on service delivery performance, identifying key trends and insights, and analyse data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Proactively identify and resolve service delivery issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate stakeholders.
Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both verbally and in writing, ensuring clear and concise information sharing.
Actively participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge within service delivery.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, IT).
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
A demonstrable passion for service delivery and continuous improvement.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Experience working within a professional services environment.
Experience with service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile).
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation).
Contract Duration: 12 months (Fixed-term contract)
