We are seeking a Data Product Owner to join a global consultancy delivering data-led initiatives across a complex enterprise environment.
Data Product Owner
Location: US / Remote (with monthly on-site client visits - Virginia)
Salary: Circa $180,000 - $210,000 USD per year
You’ll be responsible for shaping data products from concept through delivery, ensuring they meet business needs and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Own and prioritise backlogs for data platforms, governance and data product initiatives
Elicit, document and manage business and technical requirements
Translate needs into user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery priorities
Define KPIs, success measures and outcome-based objectives
Work closely with architects and engineering teams throughout delivery
Support continuous improvement of data products and processes
Key Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in business analysis, product ownership, or data-focused roles
Demonstrated experience working with data, analytics or platform products
Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
Familiarity with Agile delivery and iterative development models
Understanding of data lifecycles, quality and governance principles
