We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join a global consultancy delivering modern data platforms and products within a long-term enterprise data programme.
Data Engineer
Location: US / Remote (with monthly on-site client visits - Virginia)
Salary: Circa $180,000 - $230,000 USD per year
You will focus on building reliable, scalable data pipelines that underpin analytics, governance and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build and optimise data ingestion and transformation pipelines
Develop reusable data models and curated data products
Implement automated data quality validation and monitoring
Support metadata capture and data lifecycle management
Collaborate closely with product, architecture and analytics teams
Improve performance, reliability and scalability of data solutions
Key Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in data engineering or data quality engineering roles
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
Experience with cloud-based data platforms and ETL/ELT tooling
Understanding of data modelling, quality and governance principles
Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery teams
