The Opportunity
Are you a versatile IT professional looking to bridge the gap between technical support and strategic project delivery? We are representing a leading specialist in the nuclear engineering sector—a business dedicated to high-level design, manufacturing, and long-term asset management within critical national infrastructure.
This is a pivotal role designed to move the IT function from reactive "firefighting" to proactive project excellence. You will support a multi-site enterprise environment, ensuring the resilience and security of systems that underpin vital engineering projects.
Growth & Path Forward
This isn't just a maintenance role; it is a dedicated stepping stone into Project Delivery and Strategy. The leadership team is looking for someone to take ownership of the project workload, allowing you to transition from day-to-day support into a more project-oriented career pathway.
As you integrate into the team, you will be given the autonomy to research, propose, and implement your own solutions to complex infrastructure challenges. With the company expanding into new sites and modernising its tech stack—including hybrid cloud and advanced cybersecurity frameworks—you will be at the forefront of implementing the next generation of their IT estate.
The Role
As a Senior IT Support Analyst, you will act as a "Swiss Army Knife" for the department. While you will provide advanced technical support, your primary focus will be taking ownership of IT projects that are currently sidelined by daily operations.
